About Manex

Manex is a private, on-device AI memory app for iPhone — built by one developer who thinks your memories shouldn't have to leave your pocket to become useful.

What Manex is

Manex turns the moments you capture on iPhone — a photo, a voice journal, a quick note — into private, searchable memory. On-device language models read the scene, transcribe the words, and connect the context, so later you can ask in plain language: "that wine I saw at dinner," "the idea I recorded after the meeting." Reservations for the iOS launch are open on the home page.

Why it exists

Most AI assistants are stateless: you tell them things, and the context evaporates. The tools that do remember usually remember in someone else's cloud. Manex is built on a different premise — that memory this personal should be processed and stored on the device that captured it. iOS 27's on-device models finally make that possible without trading away capability.

Who builds it

Ravi Krishnan — founder and developer. Manex is an independent, one-person project: the design, the code, the writing on this site, and the support replies all come from the same person. Before the iPhone app, Manex explored private document memory for teams — grounded answers, corrections, and source-backed search — and that work still informs how the app treats evidence and context today.

What it believes about your data

Captures are understood on your iPhone. Private by default, searchable by you, and not a training set for anyone. The full details are in the privacy policy.
