For centuries, the practice of commentary existed precisely to solve this. Scholars wrote back. Their annotations and marginal notes layered meaning onto original texts, preserving not just the subject but the mind that encountered it. That layered record is how intellectual history actually survived.

Manex is an attempt to revive that practice — and to extend it. Not just to text, but to images, documents, visual scenes, and the full breadth of what we encounter. A vision first imagined in 1945. Now built.

The entire intelligence stack is built in-house. Manex Vision Intelligence and Manex Answer Engine run locally on your device. Manex Text Capture reads what you capture. Manex Semantic Search indexes what you mean. Nothing reaches a server. Nothing is shared.
