1. Information we collect

Manex does not collect any information about you or your usage of the app. We have no access to the content you capture, the annotations you write, the knowledge graph you build, or any other data you create within the app. There is no account creation process and no requirement to provide any personal information to use Manex.

2. On-device processing

All intelligence features in Manex — including visual analysis, text capture, natural language understanding, semantic retrieval, and answer synthesis — are performed entirely on your device.

When the Manex Vision Pro app is in use and connected to Manex Hub, communication occurs directly over your local network between your Mac and Vision Pro headset. This communication is device-to-device only — it does not pass through any external server, and no data is transmitted beyond your local network.

3. Third-party services

Manex does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or data services. The full Manex intelligence stack runs locally on your hardware. No API calls are made to external AI services.

The only network activity Manex may perform is communicating with Apple's servers for standard App Store functions such as purchase validation. This is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Data storage and security

Your captured content, annotations, and knowledge graph are stored locally on your device using macOS and visionOS standard secure storage, subject to the device-level encryption provided by Apple. We have no access to this data and cannot retrieve, view, or modify it under any circumstances. If you delete the app, all locally stored Manex data is removed from your device.

5. Children's privacy

Manex does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. As no data is collected from any user, Manex is compliant with COPPA and equivalent regulations.

6. Changes to this policy

If this privacy policy changes, the updated version will be published at manex.app/privacy with a revised effective date. As Manex collects no data, any changes are unlikely to affect your privacy in practice.
