1. Agreement
By using Manex, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using Manex for an organization, you represent that you have authority to use the service on that organization's behalf.
2. Product
Manex provides local-first AI memory tools for documents, conversations, corrections, and team knowledge. Features may include browser-side document ingestion, local AI models where supported, encrypted team sync, Google Drive and OneDrive import, and paid workspace creation.
3. Your content
You retain rights to the documents, text, images, conversations, and other content you add to Manex. You are responsible for ensuring you have the rights and permissions needed to upload, import, process, or share that content.
You should not use Manex with content that you are not allowed to process or disclose, or where your legal, regulatory, contractual, or security obligations require controls Manex does not currently provide.
4. Team workspaces
A team leader or workspace owner may create a shared workspace and invite members. The owner is responsible for who receives invite codes, who joins, and what material is shared into that workspace.
Members should treat shared memory, indexes, and answers as team materials and should not add content that should not be visible to the workspace.
5. Third-party services
When you connect Google Drive, OneDrive, Stripe, or another third-party service, that service's own terms and privacy policy also apply. Manex is not responsible for third-party services, outages, account restrictions, consent requirements, or policy changes.
6. Subscriptions and billing
Paid workspace features may require an active subscription. Subscription pricing, renewal timing, cancellation, and payment handling are managed through the checkout or billing provider shown at purchase. If a subscription is cancelled or payment fails, Manex may restrict new uploads, workspace creation, sync, or other paid features.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse Manex, including by attempting to bypass limits, disrupt the service, access workspaces without authorization, upload malicious content, infringe others' rights, or use Manex for unlawful activity.
8. AI outputs
Manex may produce AI-generated answers, summaries, memories, and retrieval results. AI outputs can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them, especially for legal, medical, financial, safety, compliance, or employment decisions.
9. Availability and changes
Manex may change, pause, or discontinue features as the product evolves. We aim to build carefully, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, perfect retrieval, or compatibility with every browser, device, document format, or third-party account.
10. Disclaimers
Manex is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Manex will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of the service.
12. Termination
You may stop using Manex at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe these terms are violated, a subscription is not active for paid features, or continued access creates risk for Manex, users, or third parties.
